The second edition of THE kids connect golf tournament IS confirmed to take place on 16th December 2022 at the Toro club in Fort Portal city.
The AFRIYEA Kids Connect is an enormous event that aims to bring young players together to enjoy the game of golf, network and establish life-long friendships, and connections and share an unlimited variety of cultures and experiences.
SECOND EDITION
the second edition of the kids connect tournament will be held at the 9-hole golf course Toro club in the tourist city of Fort Portal Uganda.
The tournament will be targeting juniors from all corners of Uganda and beyond. The tournament will also create an environment for more female participation than in the first edition.
It’s well documented the world over that female participation in all sports remains a big concern, however, the opportunity to encourage girls to participate in the same tournament as boys is one of the strategies we use to get more females to play the game of golf.
