Personal Background
Born May 3, 1990 in Bloemfontein South Africa
Early life and introduction to golf.
Grew up playing field hockey at a very young age, also track and field. Only started playing golf when I moved to the United States with my family at the age of 16.
Key influences and mentors in their golfing careers.
My father has always been my number one influence and supporter he has introduced me to the game. My college coach at Purdue University, he believed in me and helped me through university. After four years of college, I was number 7th in the world amateur rankings.
Major wins and significant milestones in their careers
My first Professional win on a major tour at the Super Sport Ladies at Sun City, this led to my biggest professional Achievement six months later the CPKC Canadian Women’s Open. Milestones, Qualifying for the Olympics three times in my career. (Only competing in two of them because of COVID TEST for Tokyo.)
Previous participation and performance in major international tournaments, including past Olympics, if applicable.
16th Place in Rio Brazil Olympics. My latest 12th finish at the Evian Championship in France.
Olympic Preperation
Details about their preparation and training regimen for the Olympics 2024.
I’m in the middle of competition week in week out leading up to the Olympics. I will treat the Olympics just like any other tournament, with practicing on the course and preparing with my caddy. I will have a few days to play and practice on the course.
Comments on their goals and expectations for the Olympics.
My Ultimate goal is to win a medal. But my daily goals remain focused on navigating the course and working on my techniques I’ve been working on for the past few months.
